West-Star North Dairy Anaerobic Digester

4CG Construction was selected to provide general contractor services for the West-Star North Dairy Anaerobic Digester. West-Star North Dairy is a roughly 8,900 cow dairy facility in Buttonwillow, bordered by Riverside St. to the north, Burkank St. to the west and existing dairy and agricultural land to the south and east. The anaerobic digester project consisted of construction of a two-cell dual-lined covered lagoon style digester, concrete sand lane and receiving pit, mechanical room with combustion engines, pumps, piping and electrical. The two-cell layout has a 31.6M gallon capacity (550’ L x 288’ W, 21.7M gal.; 306’ L x 288’ W,9.9M gal.), and utilized the existing mechanical separator.
